Cards. 15.5 x 13.5 Thanksgiving Day Banquet menu, announcement of speakers, and schedule of events held at the Zoological Garden Restaurant. Nearly six months before the start of WW1, US Ambassador to Germany, James W. Gerard, orchestrates a Thanksgiving reception and dinner in Berlin. Speakers included Professor Archibald Coolidge of Harvard, the Menu featured Chicken Gumbo Soup and Saddle of Mutton, America & The Star Spangled Banner was sung followed by dancing. American eagle illustration on the cover, fold mark and some light scuffing, otherwise clean. Menu and schedule of events held in by red, white and blue string with tassel. Orig. cream paper card stock, string and tassel. Very good.
